A science teacher at Durant High School has been named Oklahoma’s 2017 Teacher of the Year.
A loaded gun led to the arrest of a Bethany Middle School student. Police said another student alerted the school and the principal discovered the weapon in a backpack.
A student was arrested after authorities said he brought a loaded gun to Bethany Middle School, Wednesday morning.
